San Diego Breweries by Neighborhood

San Diego’s brewery scene is as vibrant and diverse as its neighborhoods, from laid-back beachside taprooms to award-winning craft brewing pioneers tucked into industrial parks. Whether you’re a local exploring new flavors or visiting and curious where to sip next, this guide to San Diego breweries makes it easy to find your favorite pint, flight or growler, all by neighborhood. While it does not cover every neighborhood in San Diego, I tried to include any that have at least one or two taprooms. As someone who helps people find their ideal home across San Diego, I can tell you that every great SD community has its own character, and many have their own incredible beers. So, grab a glass and scroll through this neighborhood-by-neighborhood brewery list to explore what’s “hoppening” in America’s Finest City! Plus, my two favorite non-alcoholic brews (shhhh. . . don’t tell anyone they’re not local).
